The Story

Why Polypropylene and not Nylon for Fender Lines?
Polypropylene outperforms nylon for fender lines because it’s lighter, floats, resists weather better, and has less stretch, ensuring a snug fit. While nylon is ideal for docking lines due to its strength and elasticity, polypropylene stays drier and offers superior performance for fender applications.
Why a 2” Eyelet?
The 2-inch eyelet allows for an easy slip knot to secure your fender. Larger eyelets, typically found on dock lines, can cause instability in the fender’s positioning.
Fender Line Features:Â
- Purpose-built for fender use
- Material: Strong and durable polypropylene
- Length: 10 feet
- Diameter: 3/8” (9mm)
- Eyelet: 2” inches
- Type: Double-braided for added strength and flexibility
- Color: Red (also available in Black, White, Grey, Blue, Sand, Navy Blue)
